OBJECTIVES 

• Teach ESL/EFL young learners how to understand and respond to different classroom commands.
• Teach essential action verbs that students will need through their English study life.
• Learn to give and follow orders using short phrases in the imperative mood.

WARM-UP

CARTOON ANIMATED VIDEO 

This cartoon video is essential for introducing the words, phrases, grammar, spelling, and sentences of the lesson in context. 

GAME 

SIMON SAYS

  Eg:     Simon says, sit down.
             Simon says, stand up

       

The student plays this fun game after watching the video, to practice the contents of the lesson. The game reviews key vocabulary, grammar, and sentences from the lessons.

ASK AND RESPOND ACTIVITY 

Project some flashcards with commands and ask the student to the action on it, if you don't have how the project flashcards, you can do it manually.
